These days, rudeness walks around wearing sunglasses and calling itself “straightforwardness.”
They say something harsh, watch your face fall, and then swoop in with—
“Oh come on, don’t be so sensitive. I’m just being honest.”
Translation: I’m rude, but let me make it your fault. 🙃
And there you are, doubting yourself… Was I overreacting? Did I imagine the sting?
No, darling, you didn’t. That sting was as real as the pimple on prom night. 😉
Here’s my Sunday wisdom: the next time someone throws “straightforward” darts at you, hand them their own medicine.
Be just as “authentic” back—polite-looking rudeness wrapped in gift paper. 🎁
They’ll be too stunned to clap back, but they’ll surely think twice before being “real” with you again.
Moral of the story? If they can play the straightforward card, you can slam down the UNO Reverse. +10 points to you. 🤓

PS: For the uninitiated, the UNO Reverse card simply means “right back at you.” 😎
