They say—you don’t plan a visit to Mahakaal Baba.
He calls you.
And when He does…
it’s not just about reaching a temple—
it’s about arriving within yourself.
Because even in the rush,
the overwhelming crowd,
the noise all around—
something quietly shifts inside.
He doesn’t take away the chaos…
He places a calm within you. …
A stillness you can’t explain,
but deeply feel.
And maybe… that’s how He works with our fears too.
Like the Claustrophobic me—
standing in line for three hours… twice in two days—and even I couldn’t believe it.
Maybe He doesn’t remove your fears…
He makes you strong enough to face them.
We didn’t just visit.
We paused… we surrendered… we absorbed…
and somewhere between clutching sarees,
jumping over boats,
hanging onto autos,
and “no to sweets” me relishing every dessert in sight— I learnt something else too …
maybe this trip was also about letting go…
and simply flowing.
