PS ..Thank you AI for letting me meet all my little furry babies in one frame 😇❤️🥹

And yes ..Some dogs live with us.
Some live across oceans.
Some live only in our memories.
And somehow, all of them still live in our hearts.
Tashi was with me for just a week.
A tiny soul who fought bravely but lost her battle to Parvo. A week sounds insignificant on a calendar, yet sometimes love measures itself in moments, not years. She left before we were ready, but she left loved.
Joey and Rocco live across the seas with Gauri and Matthew. An entire ocean separates us, yet a piece of my heart wakes up with them every morning and curls up beside them every night.
Then there was Almond — our little foster who came to teach us that love doesn’t need permanence to be real. He found the home he deserved, but he took a piece of all of us with him. I still remember Gauri and Matthew howling like babies when he left. Truth be told, we all did.
And then there are the others.
The ones who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.😥😥
The ones whose collars are gone but whose presence still lingers in old photographs, favourite corners of the house, and memories that arrive unannounced.
Dogs are never really “just pets.”
They become chapters of our lives, keepers of our secrets, witnesses to our joys and sorrows.
And when they leave, they don’t take up space in our homes anymore.
They take up space in our hearts.
Forever.
